APPEA CEO Andrew McConville says Australia needs to invest in technologies in order to achieve net zero emissions.
Mr McConville said more energy supply and managing the transition to net zero emissions would require both investment and technology.
“The simple reality is that we will not get to net zero without the sorts of technologies that come from the hydrocarbon sector,” he told Sky News Australia.
“It’s so important to get the investment environment right.”
