Creative Medical Technology Shares Rise 21% in Heavy Volume – MarketWatch

Creative Medical Technology Holdings Inc. shares were up 21% to $4.21 in heavier-than-normal trade Monday.
Volume for the stock was 29.1 million shares at 12:45 p.m. ET, compared with its 65-day average volume of 4.7 million shares. The stock hit its 52-week low of $1.32 on March 8.
The stock moved up last week after the company said it saw positive two-year follow-up data for its StemSpine pilot study.
Data showed significant efficacy of the StemSpine procedure for treating chronic lower back pain without any serious adverse effects reported, the company said. There were no safety related concerns at up to two years and the StemSpine procedure resulted in an efficacy rate of 87% in the treated patients.
The company plans to submit a manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed journal and present the data at future orthopedic/sports medicine conferences.
