Beauport Financial receives award in financial technology

GLOUCESTER — Beauport Financial Services have been awarded the 2021 “FinTech Award” from their broker dealer, Valmark Securities, Inc.
“FinTech” — or financial technology — plays a vital role in their client experience.
FinTech that is used by Beauport includes financial planning software, portfolio management, and performance reporting. Further, FinTech provides client relationship-management software, electronic document processing, and storage.
These tools help Beauport stay organized, assist with reporting and planning, and expedite the paperwork process.

Member firms were scored on eight different categories when being evaluated for the FinTech Award. Beauport Financial scored at the top in many of those categories.
Valmark, Beauport’s broker dealer, is based out of Akron, Ohio. It specializes in providing life insurance, investment advisory, risk management, retirement plan solutions, and support services for financial advisors.
Beauport received recognition for being the first-place member firm at the Valmark Member Summit, a conference for all member firms held in Orlando, Florida.
Additionally, Beauport was given $5,000 to donate to a nonprofit of their choice through Valmark’s Global Gift Fund. The organization chose to donate to Amirah, Inc., which provides refuge for those who have survived sexual exploitation and human trafficking. The nonprofit is based in Woburn.
